CSU TELECOUNSELING Mental health and psychosocial support services for students, faculty, administrative staff including immediate communities surrounding CSU, and frontliners
Functional food for the Frontliners Caraga Food Innovation Center (Caraga FIC) at CSU turned over nutritious food packs on to PDRRMO and DSWD for distribution to the COVID-19 frontliners/ task force
CSU- College of Agriculture and Agri- Industries Prepared vegetable seedlings with easy-to-follow planting guides for distribution to the barangays and households in CSU’s vicinity. The “ Tanim sa Bahay Initiative” is a simple way of inspiring people to be productive through gardening while staying at home during the ECQ.
CSU-FABLAB Ergonomic and reusable 3D printed face shields were turned over to Dr. Christian Louie Bagang, President of the Philippine Medical Association - Agusan del Sur Chapter for the COVID- 19 front liners. More ergonomic and reusable 3D printed face shields were provided to PLGU-Agusan del Sur, MLGU-Buenavista ADN, Bislig, SDS & PNP Frontliners in Region 13
CSU- Incident Mgt Team Provided relief goods to students from far-flung areas who have not gone home after the declaration of the community quarantine, and the Trisikad drivers that provide service to CSU staff and students
Caraga Center for Geo-informatics COVID-19 Mapping Develop and deploy web/ online maps that can visualize the COVID cases (confirmed, PUM or PUI). More informative maps that can be used by DOH/ MHO/ CHO and LGUs for information dissemination purposes. It can also be used to assess the spatial distribution of the cases which may led to coming up with strategies (e.g., to further prevent the spread of the virus).
CSU- CHEMISTRY DIVISION Disinfectant Production In partnership with LGU Butuan, LGU Cabadbaran, and DOST Caraga, produced ~15 tons of disinfectants for Butuan City, Cabadbaran City, and CSU Campuses
CSU-MATERIAL SCIENCE & POLYMER CHEM LAB Production of nanocellulose films for insertion in facial and surgical masks to enhance protection against COVID-19
CSUCC- GARMENTS TECHNOLOGY PROGRAM Production and sterilization of face masks by faculty and student volunteers at CSU- Cabadbaran City
