HISTORY The 22 nd of October, 1984 Jocar Electric Group started up as an electrical contractor company. Its founder, Electric Engineer José de Jesús González had visualized a company with three divisions of business: the retailing, installing and manufacturing of electric products, that idea is reflected in the three blades present in the fan in the Jocar Group Logo. On 1987, Jocar Electric Group started its Retail Division through Jocar Electrica SA de CV Company, today it has four stores, two located in the city of Puebla, one in Queretaro and another one in San Luis Potosi, Mexico. Following the global trend of energy saving and monitoring Jocar Group decided giving birth to Jocar Energy Services SA de CV in the city of Querétaro on 2013. On August 1 st of 2017, Jocar Electric Group is consolidated with the construction of Jocar Center in the city of Puebla, which houses the corporate offices of the group, the project execution and engineering division facilities tripling the previous location and a distribution warehouse to supply electric products for our stores. Last year our Electric Panel Workshop got Schneider Electric certification as an authorized assembler of their ETS line. This year we are starting operations in Monterrey, NL. RELEVANT PROJECTS INDUSTRY P&G Mariscala / Talisman – Celaya, GTO / CDMX- 2005 Modernization of water treatment plants of the Shampoo/Soap lines with high tech equipment, all automated and instrumented with an intelligent ECC with integrated communication and diagnoses. USG – Puebla - 2007 Extension of the Puebla Factory, included Secondary Transformers 3,000 and 2,000 KVA in Mid Voltage, Panel Boards, ECCs, Lighting, Instrumentation and Automation with SCADA interface. DESTILADORA DEL PAPALOAPAN – Oaxaca - 2010 Electric Project and Electromechanic construction including Turbogenerators of 10,000 KVA as well as substations of 5,000 / 4,000 / 1,500 KVA. SMP – Puebla - 2012 Total Electrification of the Cuautlancingo Factory, with 13 MVA capacity, this project included Transformers, Main and secondary panel boards, capacitor banks, feeders to the production lines as well as lighting. CHRYSLER FIAT – Saltillo, Coahuila -2012 Automation and monitoring of 34 HVAC air handlers for welding and finishing assembly lines extension, using ethernet communication, SCADA monitoring system, all of this with Rockwell Automation techn.ology GESTAMP – Puebla - 2016 Full electrification of Factories #2 and #3 in Puebla, including Mid Voltage Transformers, Main and secondary panel boards, lighting, feeders to the production lines. Alen del Norte - Mexicali, BCN - 2016 Increase of Production Capacity for Exports which included auomation, instrumentation and control, communication for chillers, cooling towers, water proccess system, hot water and 2 complete packing lines. EDSCHA – San Luis Potosí - 2017 Total electrification of new factory in SLP including Mid Tension 3,000 KVA Transformer, Substation, grounding system, lightning rods, 1600A Busways, lighting, FPS. SEJONG – Nuevo León - 2018 Complete electrification of the new factory in Nuevo León, including Main and secondary Transformer, Mid Voltage PIX Panel Board, Distribution Panels, Lighting and feeders to the production lines through busways. FAURECIA– Puebla- 2018 Replacement of all 15 Distribution Panels in the Factory #1, 1 st Stage, to achieve this project we were involved in a careful and detailed planning with the production team of our client, so that our work wouldn’t affect the production proccesses. BMS Monitoring System Gestamp – Puebla - 2020 IN PROCCESS Monitoring of all the utilities in the stamping and welding plants, including chillers, cooling towers, high and low pressure compressors, pumping room, HVAC, gas, water and electric energy consumption. TORRES MEDICAS I Y 2 – Puebla – 2017 y 2018 Design and Execution of the Electric Project consisting in 2 towers of medic offices, ammenities, a Mall and underground parkings.
