Contract Changes 1) Relief Availability Requirement for Category C: 8 hour shifts-every other weekend + 5 weekday shifts/4 week schedule or 8 weekday shifts/6 week schedule. 12 hour shifts-every 3 rd weekend + 5 week day shifts/4 week schedule or 8 week day shifts /6 week schedule. Category B-remains at: 8 hour shifts-every other weekend 12 hour shifts-every third weekend 2) Staff Nurse V: Process for promotion from SNIV to V included. Performance criteria for SNV in new Appendix E 3) Review of Personnel File: A disciplinary report that a Nurse has been shown but refused to sign may be included in the Nurse’s file. 4) Kincare: included in the list of approved time that is not defined as Absenteeism. 5) Clinical Ladder Advisory Committee: To be created-including 3 Hospital representatives and 3 staff Nurses plus HR representative and SNA representative. Nurses to be paid 3 hours/quarter Committee will: 1) Review clinical Ladder process and criteria 2) Educate Nurses, managers and Directors about the Clinical Ladder 3) Ensure that the Clinical Ladder is administered consistently across departments. 4) May recommend changes to the criteria but changes would have to be agreed upon by both management and SNA. 6) Scheduling: Regular Nurses to submit time off requests 35 days before first day of next schedule. (currently 27). Relief Nurses to submit availability 25 days before first day of next schedule. (currently 20). Schedulers/Managers to be trained regarding Scheduling Policies and Contract. 7) Adjustment to Seniority Dates: Only adjusted for unpaid leaves when the unpaid portion exceeds 30 days 8) 15 Year Recognition: Bonus increased by $500.00 from $4500.00 to $5000.00 9) National Certification: Initial certification increased by $50.00 from $250.00 to $300.00. Renewal of Certification remains at $250.00/year.

  2. 10) Part Time Positions: The SNA Board will meet with members of administration within 60 days of contract Ratification to work on the posting of part-time positions. 11) PTO: Two shifts of PTO will be added to your PTO bank in November 2018 and again in November 2019. 12) Health Insurance: After 2 ½ days we managed to back administration off of another special Open Enrollment for Nurses for 2018 that would have increased Nurses contributions to health insurance premiums, despite their notification to Nurses in October that their contribution would not increase. We insisted that they be accountable for what they had communicated for Insurance in 2018. 2018 No changes 2019 No changes to EPO % contributions to health insurance premiums PPO-% contributions change to: Ft-9% (current 6%) RPT 4-16% (current 11%) RPT 3-23% (current 14%) RPT 2-30% (current 21%) HRA and HSA will be available in 2019 (open enrollment in November 2018) Working Spouse Surcharge as of 2019: If spouse/LDM who are eligible for health insurance through their own employer but chooses to be covered by SRMH will be subject to a spousal surcharge of $69.23 per pay period. 2020 EPO % contributions to premiums will increase for part time FT remains at 3% RPT 4-11% (current 8%) RPT 3-17% (current 11%) RPT 2-23% (current 18%) PPO % contribution same as 2019 13) Wages 3% effective first full pay period after ratification 3% effective first full pay period in October 2018 3% effective first full pay period in October 2019 Contract expiration 9/30/20

FT $500.00 Part time $350.00 Relief/Casual $200.00 Next steps: SNA membership meetings: Monday 11/6/2017 1pm, 3:30pm and 5:30pm at the SNA office, 200 Montgomery Dr. Suite B Ratification VOTE: Wednesday 11/8/2017-Voting instructions: Voting will be by Survey Monkey which you will receive a link to, you will have to fill in your name and employee # and vote “I vote to Ratify the Tentative Agreement for the New Contract” or “I vote not to ratify the Tentative Agreement for the New Contract and I authorize the SNA Team to file a 10- Day Strike Notice, and I will Strike”. Voting will be open from 6am to 6pm. Votes will not be counted before or after these times, and votes that do not have a name and employee number will not be counted. You may only vote once and you will not be able to change your vote after it has been submitted. You can also vote by calling the SNA office at 575-8853 during the same hours or you may come to the office and vote in person between 10am and 6pm. We will announce the results after all votes have been verified.
