The steel reinforced concrete needs 2 months “curing” time
Contractors and some Drumlin directors inspect the site
The nacelle (the “box” at the top for the electricity generator ) and other parts ready on site
The tower sections and blades ready on site
Ready to put it all together
2 cranes are needed When everything is ready it may only take 1 or2 days to erect the turbine
Ballyrobert turbine completed
The turbines are sited on working farms
What next? Grid connection to supply electricity to homes, businesses and industry Ongoing maintenance programme and management by the Drumlin Board of Directors
