QCE provides conference delegates with the opportunity to explore a number of themes in the world of education through keynote speakers and interactive workshops which a range from discussing current issues in the field of education to a focus on professional development and refining practical and related skills. Theme: “ Why Teach? Exploring Alternative Avenues to Impact the Learners of Today”

  8. WHY QUEEN’S? New teachers juggle an overwhelming number of unfamiliar issues, such as classroom management, instruction, curriculum, school culture and operations, parent relations, and interactions with other teachers. The Association will be hosting a conference of this magnitude for Brock current and future teacher candidates. We are hoping to bring back best practices for our own Conference on March 5th, 2015. We also host a series of Professional Development workshops during the school year that will benefit from gaining new contacts and ideas for themes. It will provide delegates with the chance to network and make connections with future teacher candidates and professionals in this field.
