Junior Season Playing Dates • The Junior Winter 2020 season will commence Tuesday 14 th , Saturday 18 th and Sunday 19 th July, and conclude in the final week of October. • CLICK HERE for Winter Playing Dates • This aligns with the first week of school term 3 and concludes during term 4. • WBA is very excited the City of Monash have nearly completed the $24M Oakleigh Recreation Centre redevelopment. WBA are fortunate to hire the five brand new courts from November 1 this year. Biosecurity Officer & New Procedures • STAY HOME if you are feeling unwell or showing any cold / flu symptoms • CLICK HERE for Arrival & Departure Info • CLICK HERE for new Entry & Exit Procedures • No basketballs allowed inside facility • Team balls provided for warm up • Biosecurity officer and officials will ensure equipment, score benches and player benches are cleaned between every game • Hand sanitizers available in foyers and score benches • Players are encouraged to use these before, during, and after playing

New Playing Conditions - ORANGE 50 • Maximum of ten players per team per court • Maximum of one spectator only per player • Maximum of one coach and one team manager per team • Maximum of one scorer per team • Additional visitors/spectators are not allowed • High Fives and shaking hands banned • Coaches to assist making players aware their attitudes and behaviours surrounding these habits need to change

Examples of Scheduling Challenges • Sunday Competition • Earlier start and later finish on one hour schedules • Tuesday Competition • Earlier start and later finish on one hour schedules • Saturday Competition – Winter 2020 only • All games will be operating on one hour schedules • U8’s, U/10’s and U/12’s will be playing alternative weekends • WBA does not have access to all venues, and cannot fit all games into the program • This is a careful and considerate approach for the return of athletes • Players are encouraged to train, stretch and warm up their ‘Post ISO Bodies’ • U14’s, U/16’s and U/18’s will have later game times due to venue space • 7.00pm and 8.00pm matches Saturday nights

Additional Winter Information • If any player has not individually registered to Basketball Victoria, you must do so by Monday 6 th July • BV’s 12 month registration will commence at the start of the season • $2.50 entry fee for players and spectators will continue for winter • Please do not congregate at entry foyers, only one paying person per family to line up only • Eftpos and cash facilities will both be available • American Express not accepted • VISA and MASTERCARD transactions will incur a 1.5% transaction fee • In Summer 2021, individual entry fees will be eliminated
