Project Purpose and Need Project Purpose This project will address current concrete pavement distresses and evaluate curb ramp design, within existing right of way, for Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) compliance until a long-term US 51 pavement reconstruction can be pursued.

Project Need – Roadway Pavement Deficiencies The pavement along the corridor is experiencing severe transverse and longitudinal joint deterioration.

Curb Ramp ADA Compliance Some curb ramps in the corridor do not meet current ADA standards. The project will bring curb ramps up to ADA compliance to the extent feasible within existing right of way.

Project Schedule • November 8, 2018 PIM No. 1 • December 2018 Environmental Document • December 2018 Design Study Report • November 1, 2019 Final Plans • April 14, 2020 Project is Awarded to Contractor • June 2020 Construction is Anticipated to Begin
