How did we get here? 2017-2018NC law class size law passed House Bill 13 entered to ask for relief General Assembly agreed on a phase in plan allowing an average of 20 students in K-3
The Process….. Reviewed student enrollment numbers for 2017-2018 ❏ In collaboration with Data Manager, brainstormed multiple ❏ options for how to meet the criteria Strategically chose grade levels which would be lower in ❏ regards to class size as I evaluated the need for co-teaching Met with school based leadership team for feedback and ❏ suggestions (Spring) Collaborated with immediate supervisor and the Deputy ❏ Superintendent Met with school based leadership team (End of Year) ❏
