Celebrating 90 years of the Dragon Cannes 20 – 29 September 2019
A party regatta To mark the 90 th Anniversary of the International Dragon Class, the Yacht • Club de Cannes, in association with the International Dragon Association, invites all Dragon sailors to join in this celebration regatta. • There will be a full programme of racing with a party atmosphere and it will all take place as part of Régates Royales – the final event in the Panerai Classic Yachts Challenge. • Full social programme with Gala Dinner
• Mooring Dragons will have pride of place and moor in the Old Harbour. • Craning Craning in: 20-21-22 Sept 2019 Craning out : 28-29 Sept 2019 • Racing Programme Racing dates : 23-27 Sept Day 1: Coastal race in local bays and around the islands Day 2/3: ‘Serious races’ for the Anniversary trophy Day 4/5: Category races for Classics, Champions, Ladies, Youth, Seniors
• Cannes is well-known to Dragons - plenty of accommodation within walking distance of the harbour – hotels, apartments and villas. Many good bars, gourmet restaurants, nightclubs and casinos. • Bookings will open at Régates Royales 2018. • Entries will be limited to 120 boats and pre-registration forms will be available online from 24 September 2018. • The first 120 pre- registration forms (with fee of €200) received by Yacht Club de Cannes after 24 September 2018 will guarantee priority entry forms for each yacht owner.
