Tenant Relocation Process • April 2010 – Initial contact with tenants • Formal meetings with tenants and Metro staff • Regular contact with Heather Place Independent Tenant Association • Dedicated staff - Supervisor of Tenant Programs and Services met with individual households • Moving Tenants voluntarily over last 18 months on a priority basis to north side buildings or to alternative Metro Housing • Phased approach to minimize disruption and relocation off-site with priority for subsidized households
Tenant Relocation Package • 2 months free rent • Reimbursement for receipted moving expenses • First-right-of-refusal into replacement rental unit on site • Help with options to find off-site rental
