  3. Pot otable le Water and and Fir Fire Flow de demands RETAIL SERVICE FROM GUADALUPE BLANCO RIVER AUTHORITY (GBRA) • We have secured a long term water supply agreement for retail water from GBRA. BISD will pay for capital cost to extend pipeline from Cordillera Ranch to school tract. • Water development also reserves sufficient water capacity from the western Canyon Lake resources for future needs and development at this site. • Water development includes fire protection and on-site storage (Fire Tank w/fire pump) as required by building codes and Kendall County Fire Marshall.

  4. Wastewater • The chart to the right shows estimated wastewater strength for Voss MS, with showers and cafeteria, is calculated in gallons/person/day with design flow, peak flow, & oxygen demand…along with ammonia & oxygen demand loading • Permitting and Planning for a Type 1 Reuse authorization, under 30 TAC chapter 10, is underway with PUBLIC NOTICE of BISD’s application for a TLAP permit. • Our goal is to reclaim/reuse all treated effluent as an irrigation source using the standards under 210.33, “…use includes irrigation where the public may be present at the time irrigation takes place…i.e. residential yards, landscape, public parks, golf courses, school yards, or athletic fields…in some cases, even crops can be irrigated with type 1 treated effluent.”
