Emergency Planning Mandate Wis. Stat. 323.14 Local government; duties and powers. (1)ONGOING DUTIES. (a) 1. Subject to subd. 3., each county board shall develop and adopt an emergency management plan and program that is compatible with the state plan of emergency management under s. 323.13 (1) (b).
A living best practice document that reflects county wide organizations participating in emergency management activities, as part of a whole community approach to working together effectively and efficiently to mitigate, protect, prevent, prepare for, respond to, and recover from events, regardless of cause, size, or complexity.
