  10. Teasdale ‐ Corti Global Health Research Partnership Program • Part of the Global Health Research Initiative (GHRI) – Funding from Canadian Institutes For Health Research (CIHR) – International Development Research Centre (IDRC) – Health Canada – Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA) – with input from the Canadian Health Services Research Foundation (CHSRF) and Canadian and developing country partners.

  11. Teasdale ‐ Corti Vision : The program has been imagined as an effort to provide a different kind of grant, creating a “whole” program that is much greater than the sum of its parts…

  12. … The vision emphasizes applied health research that is relevant to health system policy and practice, that results in action and positive health outcomes, and that is consciously building greater long ‐ term capacity to do and apply research in response to pressing health issues of low ‐ and middle ‐ income countries (LMICs)…

  13. … GHRI’s dream is to create something transformative – a program that leverages the collective wisdom and energy of the participating teams to support the building of cultures in LMICs and in Canada in which global health research is valued, done well, and used effectively .
