Colleges ¡make ¡millions ¡of ¡dollars ¡from ¡their ¡ sports ¡programs ¡but ¡the ¡athletes ¡don’t ¡receive ¡ any ¡of ¡the ¡money. ¡

¡ Sports ¡leave ¡little ¡time ¡for ¡academics. ¡ ¡ Coaches ¡care ¡more ¡about ¡winning ¡then ¡about ¡ their ¡players ¡education. ¡ ¡ Many ¡student ¡athletes ¡from ¡low-­‑income ¡families ¡ can’t ¡afford ¡the ¡“extra” ¡costs ¡of ¡school. ¡ ¡ It ¡is ¡illegal ¡for ¡the ¡NCAA ¡to ¡not ¡allow ¡athletes ¡to ¡ make ¡money ¡of ¡of ¡their ¡own ¡name. ¡

¡ NCAA ¡doesn’t ¡allow ¡college ¡athletes ¡to ¡make ¡ money ¡from ¡branding/commercials. ¡ ¡ The ¡US ¡Court ¡of ¡Appeals ¡stated ¡this ¡violates ¡ the ¡Antitrust ¡Laws. ¡ “unreasonably ¡restrain ¡trade” ¡

¡ Pay ¡coaches ¡more ¡for ¡their ¡players ¡grades ¡ instead ¡of ¡the ¡amount ¡of ¡wins. ¡ ¡ Allow ¡players ¡to ¡come ¡back ¡and ¡earn ¡a ¡ bachelors ¡degree ¡after ¡their ¡college ¡sports ¡ career. ¡ ¡ Give ¡players ¡money ¡for ¡extra ¡expenses ¡ ¡ Let ¡players ¡market ¡themselves ¡
