Gary is a little bit light on work at the moment…
Gary Timpson and Sons, Owner Gary is a builder and general handyman, and has his own company. He got bored of working for other people, and wanted to be his own boss, so took the leap to set up his own business in 2018.
9:30am Gary browses the job list to see if there’s any available work for him.
9:32am Gary finds the perfect job, a Black Mould Removal. He can easily view it in more detail to see images, and a description.
Introducing the customer…
Tom Customer, Timpson and Sons Tom has some black mould in his house, and needs it removing. He heard about the app through a friend. He would love to find a reliable worker, and through the app finds Gary a fu er advertising his job.
Day 1
Hi Tom, I’ve just seen your job advert. Do you want to arrange a site visit? Hi Gary that would be great! Is 2:00pm today any good for you? Hi Tom, that would be great. See you then. Cool! Just to con fi rm my address is 6 Norham Road, Gosforth. 10:00am A fu er Gary sees Tom’s advertised job, Gary and Tom use the messaging feature on the app to organise a site visit.
2:00pm Gary and Tom meet up on the site, and Gary has a look at the work that needs completing.
3:00pm A fu er the site visit, Gary puts together a quote for Tom, with relevant material costs and a price for the work.
4:00pm Tom gets a notification of Gary’s quote, and accepts.
Day 2
9:00am Gary begins the work.
1:00pm Gary finds that he needs more materials, and therefore needs to amend the quote he gave to Tom.
1:45pm Gary makes the changes through the app, and let’s Tom know of the new quote.
2:30pm Tom sees the new quote, and accepts it.
Day 3
3:30pm The work has finished, and Tom gets a notification telling him. 9 : 41 SAGE Work Finished Gary Timpson from Timpson and Sons has finished your job Hudson- Black Mould Removal View
5:30pm A fu er completing the work, Gary sends a final invoice
6:00pm Tom pays the final invoice through the app.
6:45pm He is then prompted to leave a review of Timpsons and Sons, which he does.
6:50pm Gary sees the 5* review come in, and can see his average review/ feedback on his dashboard - which also provides a link to his profile.
6:45pm On his dashboard, he can also see his financial information, such as spending and income, as well as invoices. He can also see that he is ge tu ing close to his tax threshold - so keeps this in mind.
