Acceptance Criteria – Assumptions Your Property • Is in a good state of repair and will be kept in good repair at all times • Is secure, with locks fitted to all external doors (additional security requirements may also apply) • Is less than 100 years old In offering a quote, we assume • Will not be left unoccupied for more than 60 days in a row the following to be true • Is your main home, occupied solely by you and/or your family • Is not used in any way for business purposes (including any domestic outbuildings) • At least 75% of it consists of standard building materials such as brick, stone or concrete with a slate or tiled roof • Is not located in an area particularly prone to damage by storm, flood, subsidence , heave or landslip Note: • Is not a Holiday Home or Rented property The assumptions are risk • Is not a listed building, period house or does not have a preservation order on it characteristics that Aviva do not • Does not have ornate ceilings or plasterwork, antique fireplaces or any other unique features accept. The assumptions should be Your Property’s Insurance History – we assume that: outlined to each client at • No insurer has declined or stopped insurance on your property quotation stage. • No insurer has imposed any special terms or conditions on your property In order for us to be able to quote • Your property will be insured for an amount equal to the rebuilding cost the risk the client needs to confirm that the risk has none of Your Insurance History - We assume that you and anyone else involved in this policy: these characteristics • Have never had insurance declined or stopped, or had any special terms or conditions imposed • Have never been declared bankrupt or been convicted or charged with any offence of any nature or have any conviction or prosecution pending • Have never had a flood, subsidence heave or landslip claim or loss • Have not made any water leakage claims or losses in the last 3 years • Have not had any other claims or losses (excluding flood, subsidence, heave, landslip and water leakage) exceeding € 10,000 in value in the last 3 years • Have not had more than one other claim or loss (excluding flood, subsidence, heave, landslip and water leakage) in the last 3 years, whether you were insured or not. Buildings Definition Your home and its fixtures and fittings, interior decorations, swimming pools (but not outdoor spas and hot tubs), fuel septic and service tanks, terraces, patios, decks, paths, driveways, tennis courts, walls fences and gates for which you are legally responsible, all within the boundary of your home. Tip: The building sum insured should represent the reinstatement cost not the market value. The rebuilding value is normally included in the valuation report on the property which is required for new mortgages or the client can refer to the guide to calculating the rebuilding cost provided by the Society of Chartered Surveyors of Ireland www.scsi.ie Aviva: Internal

Contents Definition Household goods, personal belongings and valuables, including personal money up to the limit shown in the schedule; within your home which you or any member of your household own or for which you are responsible . The most we will pay for Contents in your domestic outbuildings is shown in your schedule. Contents does not include: • documents or securities (stocks & shares) valued at more than € 400 in total; • medals or coins; • caravans, watercraft, motor vehicles (including ride- on lawnmowers) or trailers or parts or accessories for any of them; • any living creature or plants, trees or shrubs; • property used or kept for business, trade or professional purposes; • property more specifically insured; • dentures; or • unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), drones or radio controlled aircraft. Optional Cover – Accidental Damage – Garden Cover Accidental Damage Definition: Caused by something external to the buildings or contents whilst in the home. • Optional cover provided for Accidental Damage on Buildings & Contents Some Accidental Damage Exclusions: • Things that happen gradually • Chewing, scratching, tearing or fouling by pets • When any part of the building is used by tenants, paying guests or for business • Electrical or mechanical breakdown • Computer equipment whilst being transported, carried or moved • Glass, china, pictures, works of art whilst being handled or used Garden Cover – For items left permanently in the open; • Optional cover available with limits up to € 1,000, € 2,000 or € 3,000 Aviva: Internal

Optional Cover – Help in a home emergency & optional business use Help in a home emergency: Help in a Home Emergency provides an emergency service to the household to prevent further loss or damage. • Customers can access a 24 Hour comprehensive emergency service • Covers include storm damage, water or oil leaks, loss of keys as well as broken glass in outside windows or doors • Additional premium per policy is € 25;  Callout, labour and materials for the emergency repair  Up to € 250 for each incident ( € 260 for broken glass)  If actual cost to repair exceeds € 250, customer pays the difference or if a valid claim, Aviva cover the cost less policy excess Optional Business Use Covers: • In House Office: Liability and/or Business Equipment cover is available if the Insured uses a room in his house as an office. • Child Minding Cover: Liability cover is available to the Insured if they are minding up to two children in their home.
