PROJECT MANAGEMENT SCOPE Assist the Department with the management of the SWH social, SWH load reduction and Public Buildings load reduction projects. Reporting in accordance with the agreed protocols. Department to issue request for quotation (providing detailed scope for each project) as and when required . 7
KEY STAKEHOLDERS + Provinces, local authorities and communities in which installations are located 8
CONTRACTING PROCESS A two-stage contracting process Department to: issue an open bid ( not inclusive of price competition ), evaluate, adjudicate, award (empanel successful bidders), issue closed requests for quotations (RFQs), evaluate, adjudicate, award, contract with the successful bidder(s), issue Purchase Order, monitor scope execution, review deliverables, receive and validate invoice(s), and pay against the achieved deliverables 9
NOTEWORTHY POINTS Only submit one set of Standard Bidding Documents. BUT submit separate technical proposals per bid sub-programme (SWH social/SWH load reduction/Public Buildings load reduction). Do not reproduce and submit the Terms of Reference . Submit all the required supporting and relevant evidence. Responses should stick to the Evaluation Criteria . 10
