Sc Scope (a (as s per r th the bid id sp specif ific icatio ion)  The scope of work includes the following –  The provisioning of a subscription service, delivering a digital, up-to-date, legal information source as specified in section 2.2.  The scope of work excludes the Provisioning of physical or digital (i.e. CD or DVD) copies of the contents of the information source. Se Servi vice Requir irements  The successful bidder must provide a hosted subscription service, delivering a digital, up-to-date, legal information source that includes information regarding:  South African Legislation (National and Provincial). The following information must be available:  Indexes • Alphabetical Table of statutes • Chronological Table of statutes • Government Gazette Index • Quick guide  Full text of Acts, Regulations (including amendments), cases and judgments. • Principal Acts and Regulations • Amendment Acts • Repealed Acts and Regulations • Bills  Cross referencing (i.e. links) between records and references, and between records and other records, footnotes and relevant information. Se Servi vice Requir irements (c (cont. t. )  Government Gazettes (National and Provincial) of South Africa, 1910 to date.  South African Law Reports.  South African Criminal Law Reports.  Constitutional Law (Law Reports).  Labour Law (Law Reports).  The bidder must ensure that the source is accessible via Microsoft Internet Explorer (MS IE) v11, with the following requirements:  Access service – username and password are required.  Ability to save content on a desktop for offline work.  Ability to print content.  Use Simultaneous access for unlimited registered Department of Defence (DOD) users.   8. 6. . Se Servi vice Requir irements (c (cont. t. )  The Bidder must ensure that the subscription services includes the following:  Continuous updates of the provided content. The content of updated information must be made available within 14 calendar days of publishing, while the content of previous versions remains accessible.  A notification service on all feeds, changes and additions.  Subscription support service.  Search facility (standard and advanced) that covers all data bases.  A daily “current awareness” service providing updates on: • News. • Legislation. • Case Law.  A monitoring service, where specific acts can be selected from a list to be monitored.  Email facility, i.e. the ability to send information from the information source’s site to a colleague.
