The Knights of Columbus, Holy Spirit Council #10389 would like to present you with a series of Baptismal Gifts that coincide with three program initiatives issued by our Supreme Knight. The first initiative is the Culture of Life program which is represented by an image of a Rose. This Crystal Rose represents Life as being from Conception to Natural Death. The second initiative is the Building the Domestic Church program which focuses on the family as a single unit. For this we would like to present you with a set of gifts consisting of 3 Rosaries. One for your baby (Name if you know it) and one for each parent allowing you to pray the Rosary as a family, as well as 2 additional Rosaries, one for each God-Parent. This also includes an instruction card on how to pray the Rosary. Next is a “Consecration to the Holy Family” prayer card with the picture of the Holy Family on one side and the prayer on the other. We hope that praying the Rosary and reciting the Consecration to the Holy Family prayer as a family can have a very positive outcome on your child’s spiritual growth. The third initiative is “Fathers for Good”. This pamphlet is filled with some very valuable insights for any man taking on the role of Fatherhood. While the Knights tend to focus on the male role, it also has information for mothers as well. Attached to this pamphlet is a card with my name and contact information should you be interested in the Knights. The Knights of Columbus would like to thank you for bringing a new life into the Faith.”

  6. Consecration to the Holy Family Prayer Card Text on Reverse Side: O Lord Jesus, you lived in the home of Mary and Joseph in Nazareth. There you grew in age, wisdom and grace as you prepared to fulfill your mission as our Redeemer. We entrust our family to you. O Blessed Mary, you are the Mother of our Savior. At Nazareth you cared for Jesus and nurtured him in the peace and joy of your home. We entrust our family to you. O Saint Joseph, you provided a secure and loving home for Jesus and Mary, and gave us a model of fatherhood while showing us the dignity of work. We entrust our family to you. Holy Family, we consecrate ourselves and our family to you. May we be completely united in a love that is lasting, faithful and open to the gift of new life. Help us to grow in virtue, to forgive one another from our hearts, and to live in peace all our days. Keep us strong in faith, persevering in prayer, diligent in our work, and generous toward those in need. May our home, O Holy Family, truly become a domestic church where we reflect your example in our daily life. Amen. Jesus, Mary and Joseph, pray for us!
