  13. Pest Control • Treatments for rats , mice, fleas, wasps other insects; • Around 822 treatments in total; • Enforcement powers under the Prevention of Damage by Pests Act 1949. b

  14. Food Safety • Food Hygiene Inspections, Food Complaints, Sampling, Infectious diseases, advice and guidance; • 98% of programmed inspections completed; • Prosecutions, formal cautions, warnings, help and advice. b

Broadly comprises : Safety Policy, Risk Assessments, Safe Systems of Work, Training, Accident Reporting / monitoring, Safety Committee. Managers and others supported by Corporate Health & Safety Advisor. b
