01.0 Compa ny Ove rvie w Bullet I.D Bullet ID is a novel, proprietary system to seamlessly mark and track ammunition, combining laser-etching, barcodes, mobile scanning, blockchain, and cloud computing technologies. A Ne w T ype The Bullet ID system utilizes patent pending laser technology to place a unique barcode of T e c hnology on to each brass cartridge case of the bullet as well as the packaging in which such ammunition is sold. The identifying code marking is similar to barcode markings and can be scanned on site where the case is found by employing the police officer’s smart phone. Within a 10 second period, the officer will be able to directly connect the spent case that has been fired by a firearm, to its purchaser.
