WANTED AUTO THEFT & AUTO BURGLARIES
WANTED Auto Theft & Vehicle Burglary • On 08/20/16 at 6:15 a.m., four subjects stole items from several UNLOCKED vehicles in and around the 6400 block of Louisville St then stole a truck from the location with a key found in one of the vehicles. • On 08/20/16 at 08:30 a.m., the stolen property was located by Louisiana State Police during a traffic stop in the 8 th District involving a stolen Cadillac CTS. Female driver arrested. • 8 hours into the investigation, Third District Detective Lashawn Johnson identified Mr. Larron Davis as one of the perpetrators and the subject who stole the truck from Louisville St. • Arrest Warrants are on file charging Mr. Larron Davis with eight (8) counts of burglary and one (1) count of auto theft. • Stolen property was returned to victims. • Investigation is ongoing. Detectives are attempting to learn the identify of the other 3 individuals involved in the crime.

Ways community assistance can help reduce crime: Report suspicious activity in your neighborhoods Remove weapons and valuables from vehicles daily. Keep vehicles, homes, and sheds secured at all times. Remove car keys from vehicles Dial 911 to report crimes in progress or if suspicious activity poses a threat to your safety.
