APAN Proceedings Proposal From The 29 th APAN M 29 th APAN Meeting ti • Establish formal proceedings for each APAN meeting, open to all presenters Publish online with open access presenters. Publish online with open access. • Benefits: – Attract more participation from scientific community Attract more participation from scientific community – Enhance APAN reputation – Create a searchable legacy g y Proposed Process: • – Invite papers as part of call ‐ for ‐ presentations – Submission of paper would be voluntary – Peer review process with 80% acceptance target – Papers only eligible if there was a presentation in a session and at least one of the authors attended in person (paid registration) – Authors would use a template A th ld t l t – Use CreativeCommons license

What Is Next What Is Next • The submission of papers for the 32 nd APAN is The submission of papers for the 32 APAN is open until September 9. • Elvidge will ask the SEC office to send out an invitation for reviewers to register. g • The 32 nd APAN will be the first have online peer review peer review. • The CFP for the 33 rd APAN will be posted shortly after the meeting page is established.
