So what can I do to help the young people in our community?
The word ‘growth’ drives me mad, why do we talk about it? Surely it’s quality not quantity? 2023 Total young person 5-18 target : 510,000 THIS ISN’T A NUMBERS GAME !!! !!! When we don’t focus on numbers, we could experience what we did in the 90’s
PROGRAMME, PROGRAMME, PROGRAMME DELIVERING PROGRAMME IS ULTIMATELY ALL THAT WE DO… PROGRAMME NEW PLACES TO JOIN Each young person must take part in, and Provide and be inspired by, great maintain sufficient programme Colonies, Packs, experiences Troops, Units and (evening meetings, Networks to meet camps, activities, local need events) Everything we do must support this
Why do youngpeople join and stay in Scouting for the long-term?
