Goals Establish long-term boundary adjustments for all high schools • Maximize existing resources • Relieve the increased projected enrollment at Hamilton and • Perry High Schools Develop new 9-12 grade high school boundaries to keep • enrollment between 1500-2000 students Ensure the least amount of disruption for students and families • Broaden ACP Erie’s model of success to more students • 2
Secondary High Schools and New High School boundary • Proposed boundary changes would take effect beginning in the 2021-2022 school year • New 9-12 High School could open with grades 9-10 or 9-12 depending on the boundary option selected • Boundary changes would begin with current 7 th and/or 8 th graders based on option selected 3

ACP Erie programming The following boundary options for the new 9-12 high school include • moving ACP Erie and selected Perry boundaries to the new High School Continue current rigorous academic programming of on level and • acceleration Comprehensive High School in line with other high schools in the district • College and Career Prep focus • Looping math and English teachers from 9 th to 10 th grade • Four year college and career action plan will consist of developing an • individualized learning plan for each student Student enrollment will be based on approved boundaries and open • enrollment School uniforms • 14
ACP Erie Recognitions • ACP Erie recognitions, 2019 National Blue Ribbon School o Top High School as recognized by Niche, US News and World Report and o the Washington Post Received a Grade “A” from the Arizona Department of Education o Recognized as an A+ school by the Arizona Education Foundation o In 2018-2019, ACP Erie graduates earned $20,177,868 in Scholarships o 15
Proposed PHS Boundaries and ACP Erie to New 9-12 High School Pros to moving ACP Erie to the new 9-12 high school • Fiscally responsible by maximizing district resources • 6 million in savings based on construction planed to improve the football • stadium at AJHS and the addition of a two story building at Erie Established staff - Cost savings of not hiring a whole new staff • Growth is not in one location in the district and this option will allow growth in • all areas ACP Erie can expand and offer its successful program to more students • Does not disrupt boundaries of all district high schools • 16
