History Founded in 1965 by the State University of New York Board of Trustees, the College at Old Westbury began in 1968 at Planting Fields, the former Coe Estate and arboretum located in Oyster Bay, New York. In 1971 when construction of the campus was completed, the College moved to its present Old Westbury site - the estate formerly owned by agriculturalist, industrialist, sportsman and philanthropist F. Ambrose Clark.

Other Notable Facts Old Westbury’s Accounting program has an outstanding reputation for providing high quality instruction and solid CPA exam preparation. OW students have consistently won a local Accounting competition sponsored by a major accounting firm against several other prestigious universities.

The OIES Advisor will get to know all international students by name (a lot of personal attention). SUNY tuition and fees Tuition : Undergraduate=$16,320 per year. Graduate: $22,210 per year Total costs : Undergraduate: $30,114 per year Graduate: $35,656 per year Scholarships We offer a limited number of full Residential Hall Scholarships for high achieving students. This is a $7,300 value.
