  14. • Past performance is not always an indicator of future results for grades or for mutual funds. • Teach your child to become a reflective learner by giving them the opportunity to problem- solve their challenges. • Once a week, have your child explain their performance (grades) and what they learned. • By 8 th Grade students are ready for a “hands off” approach if they have proven that they no longer need monitoring.
