3 Steel Plant Diagnosis Objective 1. Introduce energy management method using ISO14404* 2. Demonstrate how to use ISO14404 by evaluating energy efficiency level of the steel plant 3. Recommend energy efficient technologies based on the plant diagnosis ISO14404* is an international standard for calculation of CO2 emission and energy consumption in steelworks  Japanese experts conducted steel plant diagnoses in 10 steelworks in India and 14 steelworks in ASEAN According to the feedback from the diagnosed plants in ASEAN in response to the follow-up survey conducted in 2018, about 80% of 80% of rec ecom ommen enda dation ons from om t the e steel eel pl plant di diagn gnos osis are alrea eady dy adopt dopted ed or or t to o be a be adopt dopted in ed in t the n e nea ear future.
