The voices of Fairtrade women in Mauritius Name: Pinrowtee Jungleea Member of L'esperance Co-operative Credit Society Age: 59 yrs Has been in sugarcane farming for the past 12 years and has followed training on Book Keeping and internal control system at the National Institute of Cooperative Entrepreneurship. She is actually occupying the post of Treasurer in the society. ‘Fairtrade has brought many changes in the management of our organisation and a positive change in the mindset of all sugar producers. The voices of Fairtrade women in Mauritius Mrs. Greedhary is a Board member at Rose CCS. She possesses 25 years of experience in sugarcane cultivation. She participates actively in all the activities of the organisation. She has developed a sense of belonging in the Society and is very satisfied with the services that are actually offered by her organisation since it has joined Fairtrade. She is constantly involved in the decision making process to ensure the smooth running of the organisation. She is also providing assistance to the Environmental representative to ensure that members are in conformity with Fairtrade Environmental standards.
