Injuries to the abdomen: • Ruptured spleen (Kehr’s sign) • Pancreas injury • Kidney injury • Hernias (the intestine bulges through a weakness in the abdominal wall) • Liver contusions • Bladder injuries • Side Stitch: pain in the upper abdominal region due to lack of oxygen, eating just before exercising, muscle spasms, and/or improper breathing
