A Shot of Presentation Skills - The Next Level Up Duration: 2 Days In this intense 2-days training, you will be groomed to amplify your delivery, magnify your presence and put a professional polish on the way you carry yourself. You will be trained in the complete package of skills from pronunciation to voice projection, on managing your presentation decks, and being grounded, passionate, confident and at ease. This training is designed to provide plenty of practice sessions and individual attention so that each participant gets to build his or her skills steadily throughout the two days. As every seasoned presenter knows, the only way to improve is through experience. But making mistakes in real presentations may not be the best way to grow. This makes this training a perfect training ground to train and hone presentation skills before the next big presentation. The objectives of this training are: • To polish up your existing basic presentation skills • To build your confidence to engage with different sets of audiences • To guide you to deliver yout messages clearly and with conviction • To guide you to present with impact, passion and authenticity, which will ultimately inspire the audience

A Shot of Presentation Skills - The Next Level Up Duration: 2 Days Day 1: Amplifying Your Delivery Diagnostic: Your 2-minute presentation The training will begin with you doing a 2-minute presentation. This will also act as a diagnostic for the trainer to further customise the training to you and your needs. This presentation will be recorded and will provide a ‘before’ comparison for you. Module 1: Refreshing the basics The workshop will begin with a brief refresher on the basic techniques – making eye contact, being audience-focused, standing and moving with purpose and poise. We will coach you to identify your strengths and areas to be improved over the next two days. Module 2: Pronunciation, articulation & voice projection A drama coach will train you to pronounce words properly and enunciate them clearly. This makes it easier for the audience to follow what is being presented. When the audience is not focusing on trying to understand the words that are being spoken, they can give their full attention to what is being said. This requires practice as the muscles in one’s jaw, mouth and tongue will need to be exercised, and maybe even re-programmed. Module 3: Engaging the audience You will be guided to develop the ability to hold the audience’s attention and create meaningful interaction, all while managing the basics and their PowerPoint presentation. You will also learn how to read their audience and engage them accordingly, be it reiterating main points, providing a more thorough explanation, or asking questions.

A Shot of Presentation Skills - The Next Level Up Duration: 2 Days Day 2: Magnifying Your Presence Module 4: Speaking with Authenticity Next, you will have the opportunity to identify and reframe some of the beliefs that may be limiting your ability to speak with full confidence and authentic passion. You will be led to understand what is keeping your energy locked-up and be guided to release the blocks and experience a more powerful self. Module 5: Passionate Storytelling Why is it that some storytellers have the ability to capture your heart and imagination, while others can’t even manage to capture your attention? In this module of this workshop, you will learn about the magic of storytelling and how you can use it for your presentations. Module 6: Putting It To The Test Now that you have learned some tips and tricks to sharpen your presentation skills, you will have the opportunity to practice them. You will be asked to prepare a presentation and deliver it. Your presentation will be recorded, which will be the ‘after’ comparison for you. It is also an opportunity for you to see how much you have improved in just two days. She was a founding member of Spider Network, a local agency that rose to international fame when they became the first Malaysians to bring home the major international awards: The One Show and New York Art Directors Club. In 2000, Janet’s passion for people moved her to design and deliver experiential training programmes. She spent three years conducting leadership trainings for the Young Achievers’ Club, where she worked with a group of high achievers, coaching them to maintain straight A’s while leading a balanced life that included creating intimacy with family members and leading community projects.
