Alpine County ❑ Largest ordinance revision needed due to limited existing language ❑ The new West Fork of the Carson River FIRMs will have special flood hazard zones ❑ Interested in including requirements to use the Carson River Regional Hydraulic Model ❑ Possibly add/increase development standards along non- mapped waterways ❑ Possibly add provisions for dam failure inundation zones 7 7/17/2019 FLOODPLAIN ORDINANCE UPDATE PROJECT

Douglas County ❑ Modest number of revisions desired ❑ Currently require and want to continue to require use the Carson River Regional Hydraulic Model ❑ Opportunity to improve development controls within the floodplain ❑ Possible inclusion of an erosion setback along watercourses 8 7/17/2019 FLOODPLAIN ORDINANCE UPDATE PROJECT
