Payment (and contracting) mechanisms that • Enable services to be de-commissioned with a sensible conversation about any real co-dependencies, to be had about any real co-dependencies to be had • Are ‘fair’ to the commissioner AND the provider and enable sensible conversations to be had, where contracts are ‘over or under heating’ ti t b h d h t t ‘ d h ti ’ legitimately • Secure greater alignment between the currency used for payment - eg fixed payment / local PbR / clusters etc etc with the contracting arrangements within which delivery will operate – so the use of different contracting models ( for eg prime contractor / vendor models) as well as different payment mechanisms www.nhscc.org
