ALL ABOUT MISS B. I was born and raised in Chandler, Arizona. My hobbies include golfing, crafting, scrapbooking, yoga, and traveling. I graduated from Chandler High School. I earned my bachelors degree in elementary education from Arizona State University in 2009. This is my third year at KMS. I have taught science, social studies, and my favorite, MATH!
MY MATH GOALS Create a community of mathematical thinkers who will collaborate with each other and myself in able to further develop mathematical knowledge and understanding Engage, encourage and guide learners through math strategies, formulas, and discoveries Recognize and apply math skills to everyday life Break the cycle of fear and hate that so many parents and kids have for math

WHAT IS SEVENTH GRADE MATH? Ratios and proportional reasoning Operations with integers Operations with rational numbers Geometric figures Statistics and probability Expressions, equations, and inequalities
DAILY EXPECTATIONS • Collaborate with peers to create mathematical ideas • Work independently to develop mathematical ideas • Nightly homework
CLASSROOM POLICIES • Tardy • 2 tardy marks in one quarter = lunch detention • Missing/Late Work • Work will be accepted within 2 weeks with a penalty; it will not be accepted after two weeks • Math Notebook • 5 Sections, just for math! • Cheating, copying, plagiarism will result in a grade of 0 • Cell phones, iPods, and/or electronic devices are not permitted at school
