  1. 30 Hours Information Event Ø Process – Eligibility and how to apply Ø Delivery - 30 Hours at Holly House What you have to do Ø Check your eligible: • https://www.childcarechoices.gov.uk • https://www.gov.uk/childcare-calculator Ø If you could be eligible you will be directed to the digital childcare service https://childcare-support.tax.service.gov.uk/par/app/applynow Ø You can apply for Tax-Free Childcare and the extended hours through the digital childcare service Ø You should apply in the term before your child meets the age criterion to ensure that you can access the funding in the term after your child turns three. If not, you will need to wait until the following term to access the extended entitlement. Ø If you are eligible you will be given an 11 digit ‘eligibility code’ for your child

Ø You need to give us this code along with your National Insurance Number to claim your 30 hours place Ø You will be prompted via text and/or email every three months to reconfirm that the details you entered on your application are still accurate Ø If you miss the reconfirmation deadline you will receive a message saying that your eligibility has lapsed Ø To verify your code we need written consent Ø If you lose eligibility there is a grace period which enables you to retain their funding for a short period Ø We will be informed by the ECS which children are in their grace period and for how long Ø Your child will still receive the 15 hours as this is a universal offer 30 Hours at Holly House Overall aim: Ø We want to make it work Ø We want to keep it simple Ø We still want to be here in 5 years time Our offer We aim to offer the 30 hours over 3 full days over 38 weeks of the year. The remaining 14 weeks and any additional days will be paid for at full price. We are asking for a voluntary contribution of £10 per day to cover the cost of food and other consumables.

  3. What does this look like for you? Monthly Cost The following figures are based on the current daily rate of £49. Our daily rate is due to increase to £55 for a full session and £32 for a half day session in April 2018. Ø 2 days - £177.67 per month Ø 3 days - £266.50 per month Ø 4 days - £478.83 per month Ø 5 days - £691.17 per month There is a waiting list for those children who attend for two days and would like to increase to three. We hope to be able to let you know what, if any availability we have by the end of July. The funding can be spread over different settings and we would strongly recommend that you contact settings in the area to find out if they have any avaialablity and to discuss what there offer is so that you have a comparison to our offer.
