Stirling Castle Stirling Castle has been a fortification upon its volcanic crag since the 1100s. Stirling Castle has witnessed much bloodshed during the late 1200s as the English occupied it a few times only to be ousted first by William Wallace, then a second time by Robert the Bruce and then a third time after the battle of Bannockburn. It was an important residence to all the Stewart monarchs.
Glencoe It is always mesmerizing to drive through this glen of volcanic origins. Its rugged beauty is sight to behold. It has an appearance in Skyfall as well as the Harry Potter movies.
Fort Augustus on the banks of Loch Ness A trip to Scotland would not seem complete without a visit to Loch Ness. This beautiful loch is the home to Scotland’s legendary elusive serpent, Nessie. During your time on the boat you can take photos of this renowned loch and scan the waters for a sighting of Nessie. Due to its depth, Loch Ness contains more fresh water than all the lakes in England and Wales combined. A night will be spent in Fort Augustus to be rested for the next day’s adventure.
Trees for Life at DundregganEstate Trees for Life endeavours to replenish the Caledonian Forest which was diminished through deforestation. In 2012 Trees for Life planted its millionth tree. The rejuvenation of the forest has led to an increase in biodiversity. As a tour group , we can leave our mark by planting a tree of our own.
EileanDonanCastle This beauty of a castle is on an island at the point where three great lochs meet. You will definitely want your camera handy for this stop.
Isle of Skye The Isle of Skye has it all: natural wonders, Portree-its lovely capital, castles, ancient burial grounds and even fossilized dinosaur footprints. Two nights will be spent on this enchanting Hebridean island.
Urquhart Castle This beautiful ruin served as a medieval fortress for 500 years. Government troops blew up this castle when they left during the Jacobite Risings.
Glen Ord Distillery Glen Ord Distillery nestled in the highlands is an ideal place to learn about whisky as well as have a taste of the ‘water of life’.
Culloden Battlefield 16 April 1746, is the date the last battle to be fought on British soil. This is where the Jacobites, those seeking to restore the Stuart monarchy to the British throne, made their last stand against government troops. The Jacobites lost having suffered heavy causalities.
ClavaCairns A prehistoric burial site that inspired the Craigh na Dun standing stones seen in Outlander.
DunkeldCathedral This cathedral sits on the River Tay. The construction on the oldest part of the cathedral commenced in 1260 and then completed in 1501. The original monastery here dates from the early seventh century.

CulzeanCastle Home to the chief of Clan Kennedy, this castle was built between 1777 and 1792. In 1945 the top apartment of this castle was given to Dwight D. Eisenhower in recognition of his role as Supreme Commander of the Allied Forces in Europe during the Second World War.
Robert Burns countryside See the place which gave inspiration to the some of Robert Burns poems, such as Tam o’ Shanter which describes the harrowing moment when Tam is chased across Brig o’Doon by a witch.

Dalmahoy Hotel and Country Club • The present house was built in the 1720s, to the design of William Adam, for George Dalrymple, youngest son of the Earl of Stair.
