Best Practices Establish a common feeder pattern throughout the District. - Endeavor to zone entire neighborhoods to the same school(s). - Consider students’ proximity to a campus and promote safe and reasonable walking - zones. Utilize student transportation resources effectively. - Utilize natural and man-made elements as boundaries, i.e. railways, highways, streams. - Utilize projected student enrollment and capacity to ensure maximum facility usage. - Consider fiscal impact and minimize future capital and operational budget costs. - Maintain diverse populations. - Consider anticipated construction and residential growth within the community. -
