What is a Triathlon?  Swim, Bike, Run event  Almost always done in this order  Distances  Ir Ironm onman  Full – 2.4 mile swim, 112 mile bike, 26.2 mile run  70.3 – 1.2 mile swim, 56 mile bike, 13.1 mile run  Olympic Olympic  1.5 km (0.9 mile) swim, 40 km (25 mile) bike, 10 km (6.2 mile) run  Sprint Sprint  Usually 400-600 meter swim, 13 mile bike, 5 km (3.1 mile) run

Weekly Tri Group Training  Monda Monday: Swim at CNN (1:00PM), Swim at Washington Park (6:00 PM), Swim at Mercer 7:00AM  Tu Tuesday: Ride at Energy Lab (6:00AM, 7:15AM), Bike/Brick at CNN (6:00 AM), Ride at Energy Lab (12:00PM) Run at Buckhead (6:30 PM)  We Wednesday: Swim at CNN (6:15 AM), Swim at Mercer (12pm), Ride at Energy Lab (5:00PM, 6:15 PM)  Th Thurs ursday: Bike/Brick at TWD (6:00 AM), Ride at Energy Lab (6:00AM), Run at Beltline (6:30 AM), Ride at Energy Lab (12:00PM), Track at Sutton Middle School(6:15 AM), Swim at CNN (6:00 PM), Bike hill repeats at Buckhead (6:30 PM)  Fr Friday: Swim at Mercer (6:15AM, 7:15AM)  Satur Saturday: Long bike/BRICK (8:00 AM),  Sund Sunday: Long run (8:00 AM), Open water swims ~twice a month(1:00 PM)
