VISION • For the first day of summer to be recognised by everyone as ‘National Zinc day’ ! • National Zinc Day will be the second most celebrated day following Australia Day. • National Zinc Day will be an opportunity to celebrate all that our amazing balmy summers have to offer, while also becoming the number one skin cancer and water safety awareness campaign throughout Australia. • National Zinc Day will target every Australian, in every state, in every city, in every town and in every family! 5
OVERVIEW • The warm Australian climate is typically conducive to an outdoor lifestyle, meaning many Australians will spend large amounts of time outdoors. • Australian’s love the outdoors, we live an active lifestyle and we love sport and therefore we must protect ourselves. • Skin Cancer and drowning are preventable. • National Zinc Day will create greater awareness of sun safety & water safety through multi-platform marketing campaigns including, social media, activations, partnerships and ambassadors. • Our aim is to introduce #zinctzero branded zinc to raise funds for skin cancer research and water safety programs. 6
