+ Senior Activities v Cap & Gown = $60 plus tax to keep Students CAN elect to borrow • Students can select blue or white gowns • v Graduation June 3, 2021 – Tickets, TBD v Junior/Senior Prom – May 1, 2021 “Wilson CreekWinery” in Temecula Saturday, May 1st from 7:00-11:00 PM. Wilson CreekWinery is located at 35960 Rancho California Road, Temecula, CA This event is sponsored by the junior class and ticket prices are still TBD
+ n Grad Nite – on pause until Disneyland resumes operations, however VMHS has requested the following dates: v May 22, 2021-first choice v June 2, 2021-second choice v May 15, 2021-third choice v Cost $230, Disney Park Hopper ticket and transportation v Ticket sales TBD v The Grad Nite buses traditionally leave VMHS on the day of the event at 9am and return to VMHS the following morning at approximately 4am. n Senior Parking – more information coming soon! n Stay tuned for additional events: Instagram and Twitter accounts @vistamurrietahs

+ 12 th grade Focus n Meet graduation requirements n Senior One on One’s n Complete all final “A-G” course requirements, including college prep English and Math are recommended n Students that complete “A-G” requirements will earn an ”A-G” medal for graduation! n Aug 1st – Nov 30th, UC application window n Oct 1st – Dec 4th CSU application window n California Community College (MSJC, RCC, Palomar) n MSJC application OPEN NOW ( Spring, Summer, Fall 2021) n Oct 1st – March 2nd Apply for Financial Aid (FAFSA)

+ Make senior year count n English & Math! Being successful in your English & Math courses will have many benefits. n May be used for placement purposes. Check with individual campuses n Success in 1 st year, freshman year n Grades matter! n Colleges can rescind acceptances if student receives D or F’s n Some military branches may reference GPA n Some jobs will look at your transcripts n Continue with your rigorous courses n Colleges request final transcripts to ensure you kept your grades up and didn't drop challenging classes n Get involved (virtual club meetings) n Speak to your counselor if you are unsure about your after high school plans so you feel confident after graduation
