Great American Backyard Campout ™ A Be Out There ™ Event Event Concept: • Annual (fourth Saturday in June), nationwide event • Families, friends and communities together for an overnight campout • Register online to participate • Participants have the option to fundraise and earn great incentive prizes • NWF provides tools, activities, and resources Over 191,000 participants in 2012

Hike & Seek ™ A Be Out There ™ Event Event Concept: • Hike & Seek is a cross between a nature hike and scavenger hunt • Target audience is families with children ages 3-10 • One to three-mile hiking trails • Interactive Stop & Study stations • Live animals, naturalists, games, crafts, and snacks • Flat registration fee layered with an incentive-based fundraising program • NWF provides Map & Mission guidebook and cloth “Honorary Junior Naturalist” badge Over 1,700 participants in 2012
