  28.  Historically Pakistan has been providing transit trade transportation facility from Karachi ports to Afghanistan via Torkhum and Chaman via road and rail.  Pakistan Railways also shares transportation facility from Karachi to Peshawar and Karachi to Chaman. Thereafter cargo is crossed border by road until 2011-12.  After change of custom regulations, Pakistan Railways is planning to have railway track inside Afghanistan to regularize this transportation.
