MAIN FEATURES 1) High performance Dish – HPD Glomex antennas are equipped with the high-performance parabolic dishes, designed to optimize signals and to compensate quality loss due to the multiplication of satellites in the Earth’s orbit and to transmissions on the same frequencies.
MAIN FEATURES 2) New silent tracking The applied technology allows improving the on-board comfort, especially when the boat rides at anchor, when any audible noise coming from the TV SAT antenna is perceived as a disturbance by the crew. Now we have one of the most silent antennas on the market, if not the most silent one.
MAIN FEATURES 3) Automatic skew We have designed an automatic adjustment system of the skew angle, with no intervention by the user, according to the longitude of the boat and to the desired satellite. It is available for purchase as an optional system for Saturn 4 and Mars 4
AUTOMATIC SKEW The geostationary satellites are located on the orbit close to the equator and are aligned with the terrestrial axis. Therefore, according to any geographical position corresponding to the equator line, all satellites appear as shifted to the East or to the West of their own South, as if they were tilted. In this case the polarizations of such satellites are no more horizontal or vertical according to their own position, but tilted. Therefore, if the frequency converter (LNB) does not turn the same number of degrees of inclination of the satellite, the polarizations will result in misalignment. The Skew option is a compensation system acting physically on the LNB and acknowledging the geographic position by changing automatically the inclination. In this way the polarization is optimized and the best possible signal quality is achieved.
MAIN FEATURES 4) The new LNB We have decided to invest a lot in developing an LNB with specific characteristics for the mobile market. In particular, the relationship signal/noise has been improved thanks to particularly expensive professional components.

MAIN FEATURES Glomex satellite TV antennas are compatible with digital satellite trasmission standard DVB It’s a special check used in order to ensure that the antenna is tracking the right satellite, as the small separation angle between one satellite and another could generate problems in satellite tracking.
MAIN FEATURES Glomex satellite Tv antennas with one output (Urania2, Pandora, Rhea, Venus, Saturn 1, Mars 1 and Danube) are equipped with a single coaxial rotating joint, with 2 SMB connectors for high quality radio frequency, allowing the antenna to turn infinetly on the azimuth axis.
MAIN FEATURES Glomex satellite TV antennas with multi- output (Saturn 4, Mars 4 and Rhine) are equipped with a coaxial rotating joint allowing the antenna to transmit 4 polarization (VL, VH, HL, HH), no coaxial cable wrapping is needed.
MAIN FEATURES All Glomex antennas are equipped with MEMS electronic gyroscopes, developed by Murata, a leader in this sector. Gyroscopes allow to counterbalance the movements of the boat, thus obtaining the fastest and most precise rolling and pitching compensation available today on the market.

Silent Tracking Operation The new noise reduction system based on new electronics and a new software for keeping the satellite signal, which improves on-board comfort.
MAIN FEATURES SKEW The skew option is an automatic compensating system that, acting physically on the LNB, it automatically changes its inclination optimizing the polarization in order to obtain the best quality of the signal. The exact position of the boat is detected by a GPS receiver placed inside the antenna. The new recognition system of satellites SSI (Sync satellite identification) allows to speed up the search for the satellite because the antenna stops only on the selected satellite, checking it through the recognition of the NIT. It’s currently used in the R9804 and R8500 river antennas.
MAIN FEATURES Glomex introduced inside of the antennas a new set of cables for high flexibility and resistant to low temperatures (-30 ° C).
RADOME Radome protects antennas by weather conditions. Radome is distinguished from other structures for the material used in the construction that allows a minimum attenuation of electromagnetic signals.
RADOME The radome used in the Glomex antennas is made by UV-resistant thermoplastic material with low attenuation factor, about 0.1dBuV per mm of thickness. This thermoplastic material has a reduced capacity to retain water droplets, which creates attenuation to the satellite signal when deposited on the radome.
