TIMELINE SUMMARY (2016) BASED ON AUGUST 2, 2016 SUBMISSION: RESPONSE TO THE LPC HEARING PUBLIC HEARING ON AUGUST 2, 2016: •  A SLIGHT RECESS ON THE CURVED WINDOW CORNER ADDED TO THE FRONT FACADES OF 85 TH STREET AND 37 TH AVENUE DID NOT ADDRESS PROJECTION ON THE FRONT FACADES OF 85 TH STREET AND DEMONSTRATED ANY PROJECTIONS, EXTRUDINGS OR RECESSED SO THE DESIGN WAS PLAIN AND SIMPLE. 37 TH AVENUE. •  WINDOW NOW SLIGHTLY HIGHER THAN PREVIOUS DESIGN. WINDOWS AROUND THIS DESIGN WERE NOT HIGH ENOUGH. •  ADDED A VERTICAL COMPONENT AT THE CENTER OF THE TWO FRONT THERE WERE ABUNDANCE OF HORIZONTAL ELEMENTS AND LACK OF VERTICAL ELEMENTS. FACADES TO MINIMIZE SOME HORIZONTAL ELEMENTS AND ASPECT. •  SCALE OF BRICKS AND HEADERS ARE SHOWN. THE ELEMENTS OF STREAMLINE MODERNE STYLE WAS NOT SHOWN ACCORDING TO THE HISTORICAL CONTEXT OF THE NEIGHBORHOOD.  ADDED DESIGN FEATURES OF MODERNE STYLE ARE SHOWN. • LACK OF SCALE ON THE BRICKS AND HEADERS.  THE BUILDING BALCONY DESIGN RESEMBLE THE ROOSEVELT TERRACE • THE 4-STORY DESIGN RESEMBLES MORE LIKE A COMMERICAL BUILDING, BALCONIES. THE WINDOW DESIGN WITHIN THE BALCONY AREA ARE FAVORED IN HEIGHT AS TO WIDTH. WHILE THE FOCUS ON THE ROUND CORNER MAKING IT WRAP AROUND WITH SLIGHT RECESSED.
