NEW PARAMETERS - Creating a safe space - Make Het Gemaal more inviting - Making rainwater visible - Making it informative & interactive - Creative design - Use rainwater for different purposes - Does not require maintenance
THE DESIGN
THE PARTS - Hydro Motor - Battery - Lamp - Storm glass - On/Off button - Mechanical machine numerator - Rain barrel - Water tap - Explenation
Rain falls on the rooftop. The water flows through the rainpipe. STEP ONE
The water sets the engine in motion. The energy that is created with the hydro-motor makes the lamp shine. STEP TWO
The storm lamp functions as a weather predictor. STEP THREE
The energy is saved in a battery. This way you can turn on the light when it’s dark outside. STEP FOUR
The water is saved in a rain barrel for further use. STEP FIVE
