  3. What are GCSEs? • Taken by every Year 11 age student in the country • Two year courses* • Assessed through terminal examinations at the end of Year 11 • A ‘gateway’ qualification for later life

How can students help themselves? • Be pro-active in asking for help • Make full use of the resources and communication found via Frog • Be self disciplined with home learning • Don’t be afraid of making mistakes…. • But try and learn from them • Plan to do things early – not leave to last minute
