Outcomes Outcomes • It is necessary: - to develop and implement specific curriculum on “Essential pain management” at the undergraduate level for all health care providers involved • to implement modules on pain management in other courses during undegraduate study • strenghtening the knowledge and skills of the GP on essential pain management • to develop European certification standards for pain management by all trained specialist • predictive strategies to identify vulnerable individuals
Outcomes Outcomes • Integration of primary and secondary care and new bussiness model to support it; • To develop and implement communication skills in pain management • To develop Personal Health Record for pain patients • To promote person centered education (by using already validated models) • To increase the understanding and to decrease the fear by education as well as increase the health behavior
Outcomes - The participation of patient is very important (proactive patient) - To implement pain as a research agenda at the Europen level (FP 7 etc.) - To promote translational research (from bench to bedside) - Research on prevention, public health - Best practice projects (EGG, etc.) - More space has to be given to reseach and benchmarking! - An easy and accesible list (visibility) of best practices in education and research
