Staff WINTER Class teachers Template ■ Ms Host - Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Fridays ■ Mrs Bosley - Thursdays ■ Teaching Assistants - ○ Mrs. Parmenter (pm) ○ Mrs. Andrew (am) ○ Mrs. Reynolds (all day)
Entrances and Exits Rabbits class will come into school in the morning and leave school at the end of the school day through the main door from the playground. Hands will be washed using the outdoor sink before entering school and before going home.
Things you need to bring with you each day: ● Please come wearing full school uniform ● Bring a full water bottle - we will not be able to provide cups or spare water bottles in school. ● A coat ● Reading book and home/ school diary (which we will give you on your first day back) ● Please bring reading books and diaries in a book bag or folder, not a rucksack. We will not have space for rucksacks or bags. ● Will will not be using cloakrooms in the Autumn term. ● Packed lunch (nut free) or school lunches can be ordered on ParentPay by Sunday night for the week ahead
Class Information ■ Individual pencil cases, with all you need for learning, will be provided by school. ■ Please do not bring in pencil cases from home.
Class Routines ❏ Rabbits children will take book bags, coats and packed lunches from home straight to their seat in the classroom and then complete a morning task. ❏ Morning break (10.30 - 10.45am) ❏ We are not sure if the school fruit scheme is starting again in September, so please bring in a healthy snack from home for playtime. ❏ Lunchtime (12.00 - 1.00pm) We will be eating lunch together in the classroom. If you have ordered a school lunch, this will be brought to you. Morning and lunch play will be in a set area for each ❏ class. Children from other classes will not be able to mix together at playtime or lunchtime.
Good hygiene - hand washing ▪ We will continue to promote good hygiene within school at all times including regular hand washing.
Teaching Timetable ■ There will be no swimming until at least the summer term. ■ Onside Coaching for PE ■ Protective Behaviours - 4 lessons in October and November. ■ Year 2 SATS - May ■ Year 1 Phonics Screening Check - June. ■ Relationships and Sex Education - July. ■ Calypso Music on Friday pm
Importance of Reading Fluency Please read regularly with your child and record reading in their home/school diaries. Diaries need to be brought into school each day with reading books.
