  29. 8/18/2015 Setting up a WCC account – Non-WIC person that “appears” to be eligible: To create an account they will: • Enter their name, birthdate and an email address • Create a User ID and password • Answer challenge and Spam Block questions • Receive an email through which they will Activate the account 29

  34. 8/18/2015 Schedule an appointment • A non-WIC person that appears to be eligible per the “Am I Eligible” screening questions, can schedule themselves into a WIC Client Connect (WCC) certification appointment slot at the clinic • ONLY IF the local agency has decided to allow it If you decide to Not allow potential clients to schedule WCC appointments in your clinics No action is needed. If a client attempts to schedule a WCC appointment at your clinic, they will be directed to call the clinic to set up an appointment. If you decide to allow potential clients to schedule WCC appointments 1. Add the WCC appointment type to your Schedule template 2. Add the WCC appointment type to the auto-dialer 3. Monitor for WCC appointments that have been scheduled using the MI-WIC Clinic Appointment List report 4. An alert reminder will display in MI-WIC the day before the WCC appointment date 34

To schedule an appointment they are required to enter: Name, birthdate, proxy information, address, family size, phone, migrant status, primary language, whether they are pregnant, breastfeeding or enrolling a child only, child’s name, birthdate, gender, foster status 35
