Habitat LA homes are sol sold to qualifying partner homebuyers. — Habitat homebuyers are of lo low to moderate in income , with a stable employment record and decent — credit history. Participants are chosen based on their need, ability to pay, and willingness to fulfill up to 500 hours of — “ sw swea eat eq equity ” which is helping to build their future home and/or those of their Habitat neighbors. Homes are financed with af affordable loans , that are no more than 35% of their monthly income; — homeowners’ monthly mortgage payments are used to build additional Habitat homes. Habitat LA partner homeowners have mortgage default rates of less than 0.5%. Most common jobs include, business administration, health care, manufacturing, public service, — education, nonprofits and retail.
